No additional fees are paid to our company besides the cost of the course. However, there are a few payments you will need to make to state agencies.
Required State Fees
The following fees are paid directly to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Department of Public Safety (DPS):
- PTDE Program Guide Fee$20

- Learner License Fee~$16
Paid to DPS
- Driver License Fee~$11

Note
The fees paid to the DPS will vary slightly if a student is over 18 years old. Contact your local DPS office for the most current fee information.
