After you get your Learner’s Permit from the DPS you can begin your Behind The Wheel hours.

There are are a total of 44 required Behind The Wheel Hours.

14 of the hours must be completed with your Official Instructor (The person designated on your PTDE packet).

30 of the hours can be completed with a license adult over the age of 21
